Pastor Arthur Kornegay, Jr.

Rev. Dr. Arthur Kornegay Jr., a native of Jones County born in Beaver Creek, Dover North Carolina, on September 6, 1955.  He is the son of the late Arthur Kornegay Sr. and Melba Lee Kornegay of Dover, North Carolina. Rev. Kornegay is married to minister Marjorie Kornegay they have been blessed with two children, Phadra Kornegay and Travis Kornegay.

 

Dr. Kornegay is a 1973 Graduate of Jones Senior High School Trenton, North Carolina.  Dr. Arthur Kornegay Jr. accepted the Lord as his Savior some years ago in the “COGIC” Germany.  Then, later became a deacon at the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Wallace, North Carolina under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Corbett.  Also, Rev. Kornegay did his initial sermon under the same leadership in 2000.  He has gone forward in his education through biblical studies with an earned doctoral degree in theology. 

 

Dr. Arthur Kornegay Jr. is the pastor of the Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church Burgaw, North Carolina.  He serves as the President of the Ministers and Deacons Union of the Middle District Association Burgaw, North Carolina, and serve on the Executive Board as well.  Pastor is a visionary one who wants to lead God’s people into their divine purpose in Christ Jesus.  Dr. Kornegay heart felt vision is that God bring churches to one mind, one purpose and with the unity of Christ for kingdom building.

 

Finally, Dr. Arthur Kornegay Jr. loves the Lord with all of his heart, and all that matter to him is that God get the glory out of his life.
